Why the Chick-Fil-A Fast Food Experience is the Greatest of all Fast Food

Why the Chick-fil-A Fast Food Experience is the Greatest of all Fast Food

Normally on my blog, we rank different things, whether it be movies, food, tv shows, whatever. But today we are going to go through a little something different. We are going to take a break from the ranking and dive deep into my favorite fast food restaurant, Chick-fil-A, and analyze why it is in fact, the best fast food restaurant.

Before we get started I just want to talk a little bit about Fast Food. Now, in my opinion the best type of meal in the world is sitting down at the kitchen table with my family, eating one of my mother's amazing dishes. I guarantee you my mom is the best chef in the world, and even if she isn't, I get all the food pretty much for free, so that's a win-win. And it's pretty delicious. And there are really tasty sit-down restaurants that are obviously most likely going to taste better than fast food. But those can be really expensive, and take a long time. That's why we have fast food, those two reasons: Its really cheap, and it's pretty fast (except for Popeyes). And even though the quality of the food can't legitimately compete with a sit-down meal at home, or a fancy meal at a restaurant, it can still be pretty good.

Anyways, let's get to the Chick-fil-A breakdown.

Management:

Chick-fil-A management gets way too much disrespect. Often criticized for being closed on Sundays, I can see why many of the casual Chick-fil-A fans would be annoyed by that. But as a member of the christian faith, I really respect it. Not just because of the actual decision to be closed on Sundays, but also just being that bold to actually do it. I mean, how many companies and businesses would do something that important, literally having the restaurant closed once a week, and just do it because of their beliefs and morals? That is unbelievable. There is not a chance that McDonald's, or Burger King would ever risk losing that many sales because of their beliefs. So decisions like this in my opinion add to Chick-fil-A's homely feeling and kindness. I mean, out of 365 days of business, Chick-Fil-A has 313 days, 52 less than all of the other major fast food restaurants. And they still sit at the top of the competition.

Service:

One of the best debates in fast food is the Popeyes chicken sandwich versus the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. And I gotta say, the Popeyes chicken sandwich is pretty darn good, it's one of the better options in all of fast food. It's probably even better than Chick-fil-A's sandwich. But Popeyes service is GARBAGE. The food takes forever to be made, you wait in line for a super long time, and the workers are often grouchy and lazy. Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A is run like a machine. They often have way more cars and visitors than Popeyes and they still give you your food faster. And they have the nicest employees in all of fast food. My pleasure this, my pleasure that. Even though they might not have the best food, when you get treated like a king, your meal is gonna taste a lot better. And Chick-fil-A still has great food. So that is a big part of why Chick-fil-A is the way that it is.

Advertising:

I know that so far, service, management, advertising, don't really have anything to do with food, but it still plays a big part in the fast food experience. And don't worry, we're getting to the food soon.

Anyways, Chick-fil-A might have the best advertising in the fast food industry. I mean come on. A chicken restaurant that has COWS advertising chicken? And cows with bad spelling? It doesn't get better than that. It's simple but very funny and affective. McDonald's commercials are over exaggerated. Burger King is a lie, so is Wendy's. The Jack in the Box guy is freaky. But Chick-fil-A? Yeah, we just have cows selling Chikin. Straight up GENIUS.

Food:

Chick-fil-A has got some great food. Let's start with the friesChick-fil-A is one of the only big fast-food chains that sell waffle fries, so being different and unique already gives them some points. And the fries are pretty legit. Nice and crispy, and juicy, and really fun to eat. They are also big and great sauce carriers. And the sauceChick-fil-A sauce is some of the best in the business, and it goes phenomenal with fries and chicken, which is what Chick-fil-A is all about. While they do have all the classic sauces; ketchup, honey mustard, barbeque, the Chick-fil-A sauce is fantastic. The nuggets and tenders are also great. I'm personally a nuggets guy, if I'm gonna get that much chicken I'll get it with a sandwich, but the tenders are still super good. And the nuggets are delicious: The perfect size, crunch, and they are normally nice and juicy. To be honest I haven't tried a whole lot of Chick-fil-A's outer menu, like the potatoes, mac 'n' cheese, coleslaw, or even the grilled chicken, but I'm sure it is all still pretty great because after all, it is Chick-fil-A. And ohhh, the lemonade. One of the staple parts of the Chick-fil-A experience. It's the perfect combination of sour to sweet, and it is one of the most classic drinks in all of fast food. No other restaurant makes their own classic drink (Besides maybe Baja Blast w/ Taco Bell). Do you see McDonald's making their own root beer? And the Frosted Lemonade is spectacular, the lemonade mixed with creamy soft serve, simple yet absolutely delicious. And last, the sandwich. The classic crispy chicken sandwich. The two pickles, fillet, and toasted bun (with Chick-fil-A sauce) make for a great combination of crunchy, chewy, and soft flavors. The chicken is well seasoned, and the sauce adds some nice flavors and moisture. It's a very simple and delicious sandwich. And finally, if you want to be extra special, the mints. Yes, Chick-fil-A even has their own mints. I don't know if I'm just a weirdo, but I really like Chick-fil-A mints, and one of the hardest parts of the pandemic has been not being able to go grab one or two after my meal. Or maybe like, six or seven.

My perfect order at Chick-fil-A when I am really hungry (Seriously, don't get this everytime you go there or else you will NOT be healthy) is a chicken sandwich, four piece of nuggets (I like the plain chicken with the sauce w/o the bread or pickles), small fries, small lemonade, and maybe even a frosted lemonade afterwards. And of course the buttermints afterwards. That right there, is the greatest meal in ALL of fast food. It is unbelievable. Combine that with the machine-like service, the funny ads, lovely employees, and a very wholesome restaurant, and that to me makes the best fast food experience in the world. Thanks for reading, it has been...

My pleasure.
